I'm looking at a 73.5' 911 with a full conversion to a "Turbo Look" using steel
flares etc...It currently has a 2.4L engine and 74+ bumpers which were not
original to the car. I was wondering if anyone can confirm the engine & VIN
are from a 73? They are:
VIN: 9113101688
Engine: 911791
The car is located in Eastern PA and is listed in the Rennlist classifieds. If
anyone is familiar witht his car please let me know! Thanks for your help.

VIN:
911 = 911
3 = 1973
1 = "T"
0 = Coupe
1688 = consecutive build number
Engine #:
911791 (are you sure?):
This should be a 2.0 liter 1967 engine fitted with Weber carbs...

Thanks Peter!
Yes, I double checked the numbers he provided and he listed 911791.
Since I haven't seen it in person yet, I can't verify the information.
Is it common to increase the 2.0L motor to 2.4L with CIS? Thanks again.
