Update, got the CDI box on Friday finnally put it in yesterday and she started right up, they cleaned the old one up repainted it comes with 5yr warranty got to see where they're at and it cost me $250.00 plus 3gallons of gas they are about 60 miles from my work. So far I'm happy my girl in running again thank you for your help and idea's.

Hey iceman the answer to your questionis yes the noise was still there when we had figured that that was the problem.
