Default What is the hose behind the pedal cluster wooden panel?

What is the hose behind the wooden panel, cover the pedal luster? It is back, about the size of AC hose, running from upper firewal to below. Actually the wooden panel is jamming it to the metal firewall.

Does it run to your A/C dryer in the LF wheel-well?

I got the answer already from pp board. It is the breather hose from brake bootster the air intake in the engine area.

Actually, it's the vacuum source for the brake booster.

Thanks Pete, if this hose leaks, the brake's performance will be bad. Am I correct?
