Default Car Wont Move

I just went to move my car and the engine is running very weird. It's almost like it is misfiring I think. When I press the throttle it does not respond at all. And there is a high pitch ringing coming from the ignition box on the left side of the engine.

May just be a coincidence, but before this happened I had the engine fuse box open and moved around some wires.

Any ideas?

Matt,

As to possibly being related,..which fuse box wires did you move?

I'm sure you've tried lifting the "moved" wires and visually inspecting the area already? Any updates?

Best,

Doyle

I think if it almost sounds like it is misfiring AND you moved some wires around in the fuse box, My suggestion to you is to move the wires back to where they were. It just might be the origin of your issues. Then swear to leave the wires where they are unless you know exactly what you are doing.

I never noticed the ringing before. I thought it was supposed to buzz. This is a very loud high pitch ringing noise. I was hoping that was going to be a clue.

Basically it starts up no problem. But then it stalls after a few seconds. When I press the throttle it doesn't respond.

It hasn't backfired at all. Plus I have the pop-off valve installed.

I may have used the wrong terminology. I didn't really "move" anything. Just touched a couple of wires. I was just playing with the wires that go to the CDI box to see if maybe there was a bad connection that I made worse. It didn't help.
