Okay, my thermostat appears to be stuck and will either not open or barely opens. I will be driving the car down to Memphis this morning to have a new thermostat installed. I know it's only 2 nuts, but mine is really stuck. It will not budge. I'm also having turbo tie rods installed and a new clutch cable installed at the same time. Anyway, driving for 2 to 2 1/2 hours with the oil temp expected to hit the 235 to 250 range (fresh 20w-50 oil and filter), am I looking at possible damage to the motor? The motor was rebuilt 2 years ago and I have only put about 1100 miles on the motor since.
Thanks,

Yes, I will be having the car aligned after the turbo tie rod installation. Work is being done by Pat Williams German Auto. Highly recommended.

Well it turns out that I only hit 250 for about 30 minutes and it was generally 240-250. But I got the car to Pat Williams German Auto in Memphis. He will have everything correct before I ever drive it again.
