Post Squeaky Shocks ?

When I do the "push down on car to see if it bounces" shock test, the car does not bounce but there is a noticeable squeak (mostly from the back).

Where should a start my quest to quell the squeak ?

If the spring plate bushings have ever been replaced with after markets, I'd start there.

Application of most after market bushings had this obnoxious "feature", caused by dirt, surface irregularities, etc. in the bushing contact areas.

I recall a fairly long thread on this subject within the last couple of months on this forum, with several solutions described.
