Default Air leak trace

I have a suspected air leak on a Euro carrera 3.2 causing backfire. Any way I can trace this myself?

I have used a combination of methods to trace leaks. The fastest way was with a smoke machine. For leaks at the injectors you can use a water spry pointed at the injector. Alternately some use brake cleaner, some what less safe. Also I have use a propane torch aimed at joints looking for an increase in RPMs. Also, you can sometimes find leaks using a stethoscope. Don't let the fan catch your tie while doing this. A shady mechanic will begin replacing stuff in a try-this approach. Sounds like your are running lean. If you en-richen it some it may help but you probably still have a problem somewhere. Be patient, take notes. Do a pressure check, both cold and hot.
