Some other cars, like Corvette, have available data about the manufactured quantity of each exterior color for many years.

Just wondering -- has Porsche ever disclosed the number of 3.2 Carreras manufactured in a given year, by body color? If so, where can this be found?

Good question.

I think 75% of the colors sold in the US were Red, White or Black.

Actually, more like Silver, Black, Red and White (in that order). Today's cars are more like 66% silver (or variant thereof) and 20% black and then miscellaneous.

The overwhelming factor cited by most is owners' concerns over potential resale. As more and more lease options arrive that should be less of an issue,--they simply turn in the cars.
