Default Spark plugs 88 911

I'll be checking my plugs today. I see in Bentley that the Bosch spec plugs are WR7DC (copper) or WR7DP (platinum).

Looking at the Automotion.com catalog (aka Performance Products), I see an extensive array of plug types--4-ground, 2-ground, platinum, "more platinum", even Yttrium-enhanced ground electrodes--at prices that vary from $2 to (gulp) $12 each.

Has anyone seen any benefit from these "exotic" plugs that would justify the investment?

I use the 88 Carrera for street, with 6-8 DEs and the same number of AXs per year, if that matters.

TIA,

Phil

Copper. I think I currently have NGK BPR6ES in there right now.

+1 on the NGK BPR6ES, great plugs, less expensive, and you can find them everywhere. With either brand, stick with the coppers based upon everything I've learned over the years. I use NGKs in just about everything I've ever owned...

And if you want to stick with Bosch - WR7DC...gapped at .7 - .8mm (get them as close to each other as possible).
