Brian, you are right. The Euro 2.7 Carrera was powered by the same motor as the 73 RS (stamped 911/83 on the case), it also has the top sprayer 915 tranny only found on these cars. My Euro 75 Carrera is also now lighter than the 73 RS. I have it set up pretty stiff for street use but it is by far the best 911 I have ever owned in 28 years of P car ownership. I have a few other P cars for street comfort when needed. I have made a few changes to it since I shot this pic. The car was brought into the U.S. in 81 by a guy that worked for Bosch, I will grow old(er) with this one!

Yes. Let's not confuse the MFI 2.7 (Carrera RS and Euro Carrera) with the 2.7 CIS motor, which was used in both the US and Europe in the later 2.7-lliter cars.

caregiver...beautiful looking car! I have a '74 that I love to drive. It has been having some work done over the last couple of years and I have just had it shipped to CO...first drive in a while will be this weekend if it doesn't SNOW, yes SNOW in the mountains.

Just saw a '74 Euro sale reported in the October Excellence Reader's Sales Reports. Sold at $79,000. Value estimated at $80,000 - $100,000.
