3.2 rod bolt failure, anyone seen?

Carrera,s are are thought to have issue with the strength of their rod bolts.
Anyone seen a failure.
Wonder if they can handle up to 7300 rpms on the track.

There's not really an issue with the strength, it is just that with the Carrera 3.2's, the rod bolt diameter was reduced to fit, thereby creating a situation where they can stretch in an overrev. My guess is 7300 isn't an issue? What happened, a missed shift?
I ran my engine up a lot higher than that when I did the deed last year...bent the exhaust valves, which I think is the determining factor on whether you did damage with an overrev. If you get to that point, and have to tear down to redo the heads, then the rod bolts are on the must-do list. That, and racing valve springs and Ti retainers IMO. YMMV.
How is the engine running?

7300 on a stock bottom end for a redline is probably not wise. I thought you'd spun it up once. Depending on mods, you're probably not making more HP at that top end.
