Post 911 Stalling

I have a 74 2.7 fuel injected 911. She has been running perfect. Drove her about 50 miles. Stopped for a couple minutes. Tried to start her and she loading up real bad. Lots of gas odor and smoke from the exhaust. Will start but will not idle period. Will idle high but not normal. Seems to almost be flooding !??? Even at higher speeds, if you push in the clutch and take your foot off the gas she dies instantly. I am noticing a louder than normal fuel pump sound. I am wondering if any one has had a similar problem? I think either fuel pump or stuck float ? Any help or ideas would be appriciated Greatly !!!!!
