It was hot when done. Did not know about the tach lines. Below 1000 thought each line was 250, important point thanks. Therefore, I am @ 880 now. If the stalling has stopped, with a big if, would you still adjust to a richer mixture just to "get it right". Bentley says dont reuse the plug which is removed, but if not damaged seems ok to do so.

Hey Glenn,

You must always try to get the correct A/F Ratio, once adjusted, see if a local Smog guy can get a CO reading for you to verify your settings. I think you wanted to Lean her out no? I would start with a base line by turning in clock wise to get full richness then back her out with the DVM connected to the O2S and ICV Jumpered, You want less than 1.0 Volt (ideally between 0.8 - 0.2 volts).

Then set Base Idle with ICV Jumpered to 880RPMs ( for 87+ )

What plug are you speaking of? Pics would be helpfull.

Jim: According to the Bentley manual when you check CO or in my case check that the oxygen sensor reading to be .8 -.2 you dont have to bypass the idle volumetric control. After the air flow sensor is adjusted, then you would bypass the test socket located on the central electric board on the left side of the engine compartment by running a wire from pin B to pin C (Under the black cover next to the relay and three fuses) before adjusting the idle control screw on the throttle housing. This is done with the oxygen sensor reconnected.
In my case not sure I need to go further with the air flow adj as my .25 reading was between .8 - .2 recommended. Do you want it closer to .4 dead middle? According to Steves graft .25 would give you the 14.72 Air/Flow ratio desired. Again, this reading was not obtained with the bypass(jumped) performed as you mentioned in previous post. My understanding is that the bypass is only needed when adj the idle control screw on the throttle body is being adjusted to the 880.

Yeap that would be correct, sorry been a little busy with work.

1st Disconnecting the O2S and using the DVM will make a Ghetto Co Reader to get close to proper A/F ratio 0.8-0.2 Fluctuated in Between at Idle with Opertaing Temps.

2nd Base Idle Adjust with Jumpered ICV = 880 RPMs

Middle, would be good but it is up to you as tp what kind of performance you want. It is believed that richer the better running performance, leaner more efficiency. 14.72 is the ideal mean.

Crap, your CO is good now correct the idle, then you should be set brother. Sorry for rambling
