In closing (that was mechanically exhausting)....There were other pics provided to UserA. He was looking for a mechanically AND cosmetically sound 911,,,I would have gladly offered up a test drive but we never got that far...I think the odometer thing bothered him (probably RIGHTFULLY so,..BUT NOT neccessarily. You guys' know how this goes,..at 20+ years, they go,..period,..you get 'em fixed ....OR
..others take advatange of the failure in order to cheat others,...you draw your own conclusions in your own situation.....I'm NOT suggesting anything here...
NO DRIVE,...NO PPI done for leakdown #s....
Like I said,..I snapped pics as long as they would let me and was willing to come back for a test drive,..but UserA called me off of this one....I've a good feeling that this baby wasn't cared for as she could have been cared for......................There were a few leaks at the VCs,..but I didn't get a chance to look at the oil cooler seal locations (or cooler, for that matter), nor the engine top (thermostat, Intake, oil pressure warning switch)...MANY of the breather lines were QUITE cracked.....engine area NOT well-kept, showing many (static) rusting areas,..indicative of NON use...........and non maint.
...all of this, my opinion only..

My post to Doyle was - "..could you take a pic or two of this car by your place?" And I got 27 8X10 color glossy pictures with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one.

Good work , Doyle. You probably saved someone here from placing a bid or two....which at least might keep the price more reasonable for whoever ends up with it.

Did I mention I'l be seeing the boys on July 22/Atlanta area!!! Have backstage on this 2nd leg of S&N tour....like a kid in the candy store.....
I always read of others darting our with camera inhand to assist another rennlister on a purchase...never getting my chance, being here in the "megapolis" of Macon....THEN,..one falls right into my lap! What's a guy to do? Duty calls.....and this one saved a butt........
........very cool finding another RUSH fan!!!
