Default recommended Shop in Maryland?

My son and I successfully drove his '88 911 home (Maryland) from Houston with no issues during the drive, but it has refused to start now, while at my house. He goes back to Baghdad Sunday, and I may not have time to trouble-shoot this before he leaves. So...we may need to have a good, local wrench get his car back on the road, so he can have wheels until he leaves. Any recommendations?

Try Jeoffrey @ Treasured Motor Car Service... http://www.treasuredmotorcars.com/

Mostly British but I'm sure he could handle an overheated Porsche starter (that's what it sounds like you have) or he will point you to someone who can!

Good Luck..

Ralph's garage is just north of Baltimore, Ralph is a great guy and know's 911's inside and out. there are quite a few good Porsche shop's around DC as well. If you need more info PM me and I can dig up contact info, you may also want to try the Dorkiphus web site, a good group of DC area Porsche guys.

Ralph's Auto Service (410) 526-2500 Reisterstown, MD. He's actually just next to the British guy.

GREAT guy, very knowledgeable, fair prices and has been working on Porsche since 1968. You'll see everything there from pre-A 356's to 996's.

I take my '87 Carrera, '58 Speedster and '68 coupe there.

Good Luck!

Henry

Thanks Henry, Phil and all;

Reistertown is reasonably close. I should know this evening if that will be necessary.
