What's This For?
The car is an 84 911 cab. I was under the driver's seat this weekend replacing the relay and found a brown wire tye-rapped to the cable which is connected to the DME brain. The wire appears to be separated and has a plastic connector on one end and the other end is bare (as if the mating end of the plastic connector is gone). Can someone tell me what this wire(s) is for and if the two ends should be connected together?
