I tried SEARCH and found nothing helpful so.. My 1984 911 has the automatic heat control option.I have had intermittent problems for some time and now it is completely dead. I had the control unit checked and it came back OK. Upon re-installing it I turned it to MAX DEFROST and it actuated the defrost vents and then went back to nothing. I point out the max defrost area because it had hardly ever worked and so i think this might be a point of interest. For a time the control was full ON or full OFF and then it died (in full on of course-is it hot in here?).Thanks in advance!! FORGOT to add: HIGH speed on the dash fan does not work-related to #9 setting on auto control??
