Default rear wing help please

hey guys...i have a red 911 with the factory tail...what is the best way to clean it...NOT the black rubber but the painted area..its not metal..its like plastic or fiberglass..its looking a bit cloudy..what do u think..thanks,j

Well....soap and water like the rest of the car. Do you have a picture of the cloudiness you are talking about?

I have the same problem with my black tail. It's lost it's gloss in spots - and they are growing! I imagine the injection moulded plastic has oxidized over the years. I've tried Back to Black without permanent success and am considering using a paint swirl remover with a power buffer but am a tad nervous. Anybody else had success with this?

Paint is paint. Polish gently with a very fine polish ...I like Meguires Swirl remover. Go easy and by hand in small, circular motions.

Ahh, OK. I wasn't sure if it was paint or body colour plastic. I suppose it would make more sense Porsche would paint them rather than inventory multiple colours of plastic wings.

Weird,..I was wondering the same thing.... Mine has developed some spots, some of which appears to be removed paint (white stuff underneath).....I'll have to get a pic up to see if it's the same...I've been wondering WTF it is......
