Default oil line thread size for pressure switch?

Hi,

I'm installing an additional (mechanical) oil pressure gauge in my 1980SC A local shop is making up a nice stainless braided oil line to length, that I'll run from the gauge in the centre console, to the engine bay but they need to know the thread size of the fitting at the engine end of things.

I called my regular supplier http://www.porscheshop.co.uk/ but they said they didnt know, nor did they have any way of finding out the thread sizes of the oil pressure sender or the pressure switch. I've spent thousands with them so it was a bit odd that they couldn't (or wouldn't) help

anywhoo, I was planning on running a t-piece adapter off the oil pressure switch and taking a feed from that as it's nice and accessible.

If someone could recommend the thread size for the adapter that I'll need, that would be great

Nick

I don't have a clear picture of what you're asking, but I'm pretty sure that the thread size of the "red" switch is M10 x 1.0...
