so am I......

you might want to speak with Jongbloed racing wheels in California. They are closing out their forged magnesium centers as they are going exclusively to billet aluminum wheels. When I spoke with them they had a couple of sets of 15's left. Not cheap but worth the price. I've got a set of 17's that I got from them a couple of years ago when they were located in Minnesota.

another alternative would be minilites. I'm looking at buying a pair of their 9x15's to run in vintage on the back of our Carrera RS. Decent price but not sure as to weight and also the always important strength and durability.

I don't have either minilite or Jongbloed's numbers in front of me but they can be googled.

Thanks for the sources; however, I'm going to keep looking for the fuchs - I'll let you know if I find anything. The 15 x 9 is the real difficult one to source.

FYI,..Fuchs 9x15's do not fit an SC/Carrera rear flares,..the offsets are wrong and position the wheel/tire well outside the fenders.

If you really need a 9x15 Fuchs wheel to fit a Carrera, you can have a pair made,...

Not cheap, but very possible.

They might be cheaper than factory ones. When I was shopping for a 2nd set of 15s I ran across a handful of pairs of 9x15s and all were over $3K. That's right I said pairs. And as you said, they're all sized for RSR size flares.

Also, tire sizes for 15s is very limited. The only thing available beyond 205 and 225 are Hoosiers.

I would think the wheels you want for your car would be a set of 951 8 x16's and some 9 x16 fuchs.

Those are the ones you want. Staying with 15s is going to result in frustration with the lack of tire choices, as well as fender clearance issues.
