Default Fast Idle

I have an 83 SC, 94k miles. Runs great. Recently I replaced the AC and Added SSI and Dansk Sport. The O2 is still in the loop.
Here is my issue... It is idling at about 1200 RPMs, smells alittle rich, and hesitates when starting to drive.
At full throttle or driving around it seems to run fine. Just hesitates off idle like at a stop light...
Ideas? Where do I start? Dont want to just start replacing things...

You need a baseline - have the idle CO% and idle speed set to factory spec and go from there... Idle "smell" can be deceiving - the car might also be lean.

Took it to my wrench... leaned it out abit... AFM, Idle speed all in factory specs..

changed the cap and rotor which I really think was the source of my hesitation...

Just an update. Thanks for the advice...
