Door Jam Plate Numbers

Hi Guys,
Just a quick question, what door the numbers on the door jam drivers door represent ? It is in reference to a 1972 911.

I have been too busy and haven't looked at these forums in a month or so, but I can't believe no one has answered your question in that time. Just in case you haven't found the answer elsewhere, there are two sets of numbers in the door jambs on a '72. There is a metal plaque on the front jamb held on by 4 small rivets with the VIN of the car and the paint color-code stamped into it. There is also an adhesive sticker on the rear jamb, if the car is a US model, designating that it meets federal standards for import and has the VIN and build date (month/year) punched in it with small perforations.
