No such beasts in SC's. You don't see those sensors until '84 with Motronic Ignition systems. He's got a '79 with CIS. Good thought, though.

I got the problem fixed, but then it happened again. After running the car for a few hours, i parked for 30 minutes, and when i returned it wouldn't start. I called the mechanic, and he told me to put in the key, turn a half turn, until the lights on the dash come on, then wait 15 seconds and start the car. I did it and the car started right away. I've had no problem since!
