After 8 months of not finding the perfect storm 911SC, I bought a 2nd generation Miata yesterday. At 30 mpg, and killer price; it will give the family 2 econo Miatas to drive as we watch the price of fuel go up. Great car but, I was sad driving it home realizing that the 2nd P car is going to have to wait. I have the mechanical/paint makeover for the 1983SC figured out and it can now go down. EXCEPT, my son reacted like I had poked him in the eye with a sharp stick. So we wait, and keep the SC driving. If the sequential events go as happenstance usually has it, a SC with a blown tranny, engine, clutch, or other malady is going to be in my face and the engine rebuild money will also get gone. Such a sweet car, the 911.

Fun cars. I have a 93 NA with a Jackson Racing supercharger. Very fun, but not a 911. Cold air though, and my wife likes that in a car.

BTW, save your pennies. Next winter you will find the 911 of your dreams, at a very nice price.
