Post frowning smile

The smile on my car has a distinct frown.
It is turned up and I am sure that this is a
simple fix, but I have no clue how to corect it. It appears that there are holes in it and
some corresponding screws thru the trunk, but what actually holds it down in place?

Or is it just that my car is un-happy and needs a new smile? (other than mine)

Regards,
Rich

IMHO, you will need to replace the smile on the front bumper. In most cases, once the smile's shape distorts, it's time for replacement. What you typically find is rust on the underside of the smile (not the bumper).

There was a good article in Excellence within the last two years that describes the replacement process.
