CW for rotating the engine, correct??
I was told use the alternator nut and fan belt tension and turm cloackwise only or damage can happen.
Seems like you are talking about the rotation on the distrbuter, why does this matter?

Yeah CW for rotating the motor and the rotor will turn clockwise as well for non SCs. ice's trouble was that he replaced the spark plug wires assuming a CW rotation on his car due to a bentley manual typo when it should have been CCW.

The big issue in turning the motor CCW is in the timing chains/tension.
