Default 79sc backfiring

Hi guys,

My SC has been backfiring between 1200-2500 RPM for the first 5 minutes of driviing, then irons herself out and drives great.

I'm gonna change the gas, and see if there's a difference.

Any ideas of suggestions out there?

Thanks,
rosco

it is running lean , any recent service ?
check for air leaks around the intake and airbox, check vacuum lines. check to make sure your pop off valve is sealing.
This is the simple first stuff
