Default New Toy - Chevy 350 V8 911

Howdy all...

Just wanted to post a few pics of my newest toy... a Renegade Hybrids Chevy 350 Conversion on an '81 SC. It was just delivered today, and MAN what a kick in the pants to drive!

Russ, on behalf of the rest of us, I have a question. Do you ever buy normal cars? You seam to have almost a split personality. It's like one side of you wants Porsche and the other wants a monster car. You don't have some siamese twin we don't know about do you?

It's a 964SC350CAB?

I don't mean this as mean as it sounds, but, as fun as that may be to drive, it is not a Porsche (anymore).

Funny you should ask... I'm having a new puppet made right now - have to every few years, 'cause I get older and he doesn't - but I NEVER let him drive(He drinks).

And I know it's "Not A Porsche"(anymore), but it looks cool, goes fast, and I like driving it!

You probably had to adjust his hairline down to match your new 'do, too, if I recall an earlier conversation...

that's very true - Good memory! And as much crap that I got about posting photos of my hair transplant, I did it for the few of you that may have been considering it - and I still stand by it - best 10 grand I ever spent.

Russ, there are new guys that are never coming back right about now.

I just re-did my intake valves. Time to drive.

That is exactly where this thread should go next. Where can we see your act?

I was gonna say: If what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, then why does it have Utah plates?

the car came from Utah - Ogden... the guy drove it down yesterday and delivered it this morning.

As far as my act, I really don't perform much anymore. My Wife is severely handicapped - Left Side Hemiplegic - that means she's paralyzed on the entire left side of her body(car accident). To top it off, she's Mute from her accident(yes, she's the perfect woman).

These days, I mostly just hang out with her and we have relaxing fun - I'm having a new puppet made because I'm auditioning for some commercials - National Spokesperson for Toyota, things like that. It's easy work, and it doesn't keep me away from her for weeks at a time, as if I were on the road.

What's the June 20th event that was mentioned?

Russ,
I really like the car. Congratulations on the purchase.
I think you should bring it down to Oz so I can see just how quick it is............

Thanks very much - I'm gonna take some pics when the sun isn't so bright, because it looks a lot better in person than it does in these photos -

Russ - How does she handle with that V8 in the back? What about getting a turbo tail to fit over the air cleaner?

I'm not sure if I'm gonna go Whale Tail(my favorite) or remove Carb and go fuel injection - or both... and so far, it handles great.

I just got the thing today, so we'll see what happens -

Russ
