My first post. Great site, wish I'd joined sooner.
I'm thinking of purchasing a +-73 911 2.4l. I yearn for the sound of that motor
Can the 2.4l be easily modified to gain a bit more performance or should they be left standard? What are the figures?
Any things to look out for in such a car?
Another thing, what are the differences between the 'T', 'E' or 'S' models?
On a side note, why can't I view someones profile? Is it because I've just registered? Says
My account is activated though.

use the "search" feature above your thread to find most answers. Good luck finding an "S" or sport. "E" economy. "T" touring. Mostly a differance in trim, cams, and tranny, and suspention. Long hoods in general are getting really rare. Welcome to Rennlist, by the way. the first thing to do is find Peter Zimmermann's book "the used 911 story" not because he need the money, but becase it's a good read. Gotta go, it's kids out the door time.
