Does anyone have a buying experience with Sloan good or bad?

ya know, sync, this isn't enough to go on. I need more data, not just your no-doubt sincere umbrage. so, tell us the whole story - emails, vin, photos, the whole bit. once I process all the info, I'll take your pov under advisement.

Sloan is an interesting guy. I am told that he does not actually have all of those cars on the ground, which may be why yours took a while to get, though I don't think 30 days is all that out of line.

If you are considering legal action, remember that Sloan is a lawyer.

I believe many of his cars are on consignment. The scratched wheels and radio inop are pretty minor things....it could have been much worse. As much as we would all like to trust everyone out there that the delivered product will represent what was discussed, if we want to be absolutely sure, it's worth the trip to see it and verify for yourself prior to exchanging funds. Good luck to you.

I purchased my 1985 Carrera from him and looked at some of his 993's and have always been
treated well. Richard treated me like an old friend the last few times I saw him. He charges a premium for his rides but perfection (and near perfection) comes with a cost. Sorry to hear you are not happy.
Hope things work out.

I bought my 96 Targa from him 4 years ago. I thought he represented the car fairly, but I really the got critical info from a prosepective buyer who paseed on it and had a PPI done. I did not have one done only because of the recent one and his willingness to share. I also spent at least an hour on the phone with the 2 garages that worked on the car. Sloan sent me all the paperwork before I bought, just remember he loves to sell.
