I have a dedicated DE 1984 911. I was thinking or removing all the heating plumbing from the engine area and in the front.
Any words of wisdom?
Does it effect engine cooling?
Is it worth the little weight savings?

Fred,
You don't really save any weight, but you do improve engine cooling when headers are installed and none of the cooling air is deflected for the cabin.

Steve-
I have SSI's and use the heat in the winter, but I'd like to block off the air flow in the summer.
Would they be damaged by not having the air circulating through them all the time?
