Acceptable #'s for a Leakdown test
I'm going in for a PPI this week for as SC I've been encaptured with.
The current owner wanted me to find out what an acceptable leak down test would be. I guess he wants to know this so he can gain some leverage when it comes time to negotiate the price of the car.
Any help would be great!

I like to see 2% to 4%. Check the compression, too.
If you have more than 4% leakdown, see where its coming from:
1) Air hissing from air cleaner entrance is leaking intake valves.
2) Air hissing from tailpipe is leaky exhaust valves.
3) Air hissing from oil tank filler tube is leaking rings.
Factor all this against the percentages & the compression figures to determine the state of engine health.
