Thanks for the photo. Apparently the EGR valve was only fitted to California cars in 78-79. I was interested in seeing how the pipe that connects it into the intake manifold fits across the back, but it looks like your car doesn't have one.

is that blue part in the lower-right-ish corner the cold start valve?

Yes I think it is . I took it off and definitely need new seals for that.

Also completely ripped apart one of the sleeves. So i will be replacing all 6

Yes, the cold start injector is in the lower right of the picture. ice - always replace all six manifold sleeves! I've seen those babies split open when absolutely nothing else is wrong with the car, only because the last guy that did an airbox didn't replace them.

The EGR valve connects to the airbox via a pipe. Because this car doesn't have that, ice needs to buy a metal screw plug and sealing washer for the threaded hole that will be on the underside of the new airbox.
