911(vehicle type) 5 (model year) 2 (engine type 2= 911 S- USA 2.7l) 1 (targa) 0795 (Consecutive serial number)

The above is from my 1976 Spec book.

For engine numbers for 1976. 6 = 6 cyl. 2 = engine size, HP and market 9 = model year.

So I'm guessing it's different for the 75 year.
You need someone with a 75 Spec book to chine in.

Good luck.

6 = 6 cyl engine
2 = USA 911SC
9 = 1979
1868 = consecutive build serial number
