Default Window Regulator and Door COMPLETE!

Man after 4 incorrect parts shipped and 1.5 months of wrenching/waiting my door is finallllllllly finished. Cant wait to put the top down tomorrow and enjoy that cool Santa Barbara breeze. Sorry I haven't been active guys, my life is insanely hectic at the moment. I miss you all!

Naw they were nice to me. I'll roast em if they end up not paying for shipping of the wrong parts back to them Problem is I drove the car for the first time in 6 weeks and man did it leak oil. Heat exchangers were steaming with oil burn. I dont know if it was only because the car was not driven for a while or because of the brad penn. Probably a combo of both. I am thinking of putting more torque down on the valve cover nuts.

You got the good gaskets from Pelican so I would think you wouldn't be leaking. try a little more torque. If you have the covers off 3 or 4 times you may have used them up. May be time for new.
this is what is going to stink about doing mine again in search of a loose valve. I haven't lost a drop. but I gotta do it.

I used the regular covers with the silicon bead. They have only been put on once. After I took off my valve covers again the second time to redo the valves I bought a fresh pair of valve covers so that cant be it. I guess a little more umph should do it.

18 lb/ft is always going to be 18 lb/ft. Don't try to over tighten the cover nuts. If the car leaks after a long rest the problem is usually the oil return tubes...
