Supercharging an SC engine

Supercharging an SC engine
I'm interested in supercharging my SC engine. I would like the thoughts of others - pro and con - about doing this.
Also, if anyone has turbocharged their SC engine, I'd like whatever feedback there might be on this.
Much appreciated

You are probably better off selling your SC and just buying a factory Turbo if you are looking to increase performance to the levels that a supercharger would get the motor to. Supercharging adds a lot of stress that the SC motor was never designed for.

Thanks, Jay H. That's pretty scary information.
Guess I'll stick with 3.0 stock with backdated exhaust...for now. <img src="graemlins/wave.gif" border="0" alt="[byebye]" />

D230,
BTDT....The SC was never designed nor can handle this. Wihtout serious mods the effects of supercharging will destroy the motor, tranny etc. By the time you do spend the money to do it right you still are not a 930 nor as fast as one and the money spent you could have bought the real deal. Condisdering that the market is as low as it is you can pick up a 930 pretty cheap these days. Your offset of selling the car and what you were going to spend just for the kit should put you there.
