Post Late oil tank into early car?

Anyone know whether an oil tank from an '80s vintage 911 will fit into a '71 without cutting sheet metal? The reason is to make the tank compatible for a swap to a 2.7 liter.

Thank you.

Hi Tom:

You must cut some metal to fit the oil filler tube. This can be accomplished in a clean & sanitary fashion.

Its definitely worthwhile.
