Thanks Lucas,
now I understand why he told me why I should go with the SSI´s. But I think I will do it anyway because as you wrote, the difference will be slight. My mechanic usually work with older porsches, -73 RS´s that runs historical rallys and I think they get really hot. He tells me all rally cars use really thin steel exhaust, and of course, for them rust isn´t a problem. I talked to another man in an authorized porsche dealer today and he also said the engine will go hotter but he should go with the ssi´s anyway.

I have talked to him several times about this now and it´s like this: an aircold engine wants (as all other engines) to get rid of the heat. To put in an exhaust/exchanger that is less effective of transporting heat isn´t the way to go, f you don´t want to compromise. Now I´ve bought another earlystyle heat exchanger in steel on ebay, so I have to sell one of them. But that´s not a problem because I paid about half the price on ebay than the parts cost here in sweden. The only problem is wich one I should keep.......

I agree with whatever you just wrote unless you have written something that I would not completely agree with in which case I completely disagree with you. Better yet, why don't you write in English so we can all join in the conversation.
