Post how would you remove this?

Well I am getting ready to do my first oil change on my new to me 1983-911SC.I remember the seller telling me something about the drain plug on the oil tank but I didn't pay much attention, but I remember the word frozen.Well I looked under the car today and everything looks fine except the drain plug on the tank looks like it fought with a angry badger, there is no hex shape left on the top, just this rounded, knarled bolt.I have a oxy-acetylene torch, should I just heat the bolt head and grab it with vise-grips?Any harm in this approach?Should I start spraying it with PB Blaster?Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

I would get a replacement drain plug so you don't have to do battle when you need to put it back in. You must have not have a late 83, as they did away with the drain plug. The drain plug is 911.107.176.03, and if you need a new washer, it's 900.123.011.20. In terms of getting the existing round, frozen drain plug off, do whatever it takes. A pipe wrench might work, you could probably use a file to square off the rounded plug so you could get a wrench on it, or you can try vice grips.
