Default 911sc wiessach edition

If any body is interested in or knows anybody that might be interested in a 1980sc Wiessach edition. I stumbled accross one this weekend in Warner Robins GA. its at a Chrysler Dealership ( Bill Butler) its got 44k original miles according to them and it belonged to the Butler family I stopped and looked at it real quick, overall seemed pretty clean, it looked like the driver door and left rear 1/4 panel have had some paint in the past, but as I said I looked at it quickly.

Ernie

p.s the guy said he thought they wanted 19k for it.

Actually southwest a bit... and DOug,..you may very well need a passport of sorts.

I'm 15 miles down the road from the location (Warner Robins). My son-in-law is a master tech at the Butler store here in Macon and knows the Butlers quite well.

Let me know what you need,..specifically. I'd be glad to help out.

Best,

Wiessach cars do command something of a premium in the market place, but it's really not any different from most any other optioned SC.

It has the full leather interior and the sport seats, but the red carpet is an acquired taste and impossible to find replacements for. Colors were platinum metallic or metallic black. Other than that, the cars came with front and rear spoilers, which couldn't be ordered in the US on regular SC's until 1982, I believe.

The cars also came withBilstien shocks, 7" & 8" fuchs wheels with platinum spokes and black center caps, but in a 15" diameter, not 16".

Check it out. If the condition is commesurate with the mileage, it could be a nice car.

dshepp: Please, if you could, find out what color it is. Also, if it's Platinum a phone number for the dealer would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

sorry it took me so long to reply Pete, yest it is platinum, sports seats looked in good shape as did the rest of interior the only thing that didnt look stock was the shift **** I did crawl under it when I was there and seem pretty dry where it was sitting, I was there the whole weekend and the car wasnt moved at all. Seemed like a nice car by looking at it fast, exhaust was still stock with cat. in place, like I said earlier the only thing I noticed was that the driver door and left rear 1/4 seemed to have paint work on it, overall the vehicle looked nice and it did have the 15in Fuchs.

LOL! I've lusted after one of those cars since the first time that I saw one. If I can find a buyer, really quick, for my red car, well... That said, I'm fully prepared to risk the head stud issue that is highly possible with the year and miles of the car, and anything else that's needed mechanically.

ernie: THANK YOU!!!

Hang out with a guy long enough and you begin to read between the lines.

Pete, no return call from Marc today.

Pete like I said earlier I looked at the car quick but it looked good overall with out driving it or listening to it run, but he had it parked under a canopy next to a 3000 black Healey that also looked nice it may be a nice car a lot of dealers are struggling nowadays to keep cash flow going cause of the slowing down of car sales (I know cause IM in the business) they might let it go for a good price. Good luck with your dealings and dont forget that signed autograph book of yours for finders fee LOL.
