Additional power accessory
Hey guys, I'm a long time lurker, but new to the forum having only recently acquired a G50 Carrera 3.2. Got my first question (of many I'm sure!): what's the quickest and easiest power point to access +12V for an extra accessory outlet. The cig lighter outlet is already in use, and I need a temporary solution to power an additional device. I could probably pull power from the radio (is this easy to do?), but would prefer something in the center console between the seats. Thanks in advance for the help!

Go to the battery and use a fuse like I did. I bought a cig lighter 'extension cord' and removed the male end. Solder a few terminals and a fuse block to it, and you have what can be considered a more permanant solution that doesn't threaten any existing wiring that may not 'want' extra devices pulling more current through an old 5Amp fuse.
