Hi Guys,

I'm not needing more output, although it wouldn't have been an unwelcome side effect if this Alternator had been Ok. (my car doesn't have aircon, but I have fitted electric seats, windows and central locking)

My alternator has packed up and I am looking for a replacement. This one was for sale for £30 and the cheapest quote for a replacement I have had so far is over £250, with mine in exchange. So at almost a 10th of the price, I was hoping this one would fit.

I'd have mine rebuilt but have yet to find a company around here (Dundee, Scotland) that I trust.

"A new Bosch unit for an SC is 75 Amps"

Bosch stopped supplying 911 alternators in the late '60s and did
supply again until '89 with the 964.

I stand corrected. Should have just said a "new unit"
