Well gents the car arrived last night/evening. She looks great(pics will follow soon...I'm really busy at the moment with work). The car was lowered, corner balanced and aligned at Eurowerks(plus the 30k mile service). I was never a Targa guy but I must say I'm in love...
The purchase was very smooth/pleasent(thanks Stan,Bob..and Nathan(for the detail job)at Exclusive Motors)
Thank you to Eurowerks for great communication..

Another suggestion / warning:
The G50 tranny came with a rubber centered clutch disk. Over the years the rubber will dry out, tear, and fail. When it does you can swap to the spring centered clutch disk from the 76 turbo. The disk is the only item that need to be changed, although swapping out the needle bearings for bushings on the clutch fork is a good idea while you're in there.
Hard to say when it will fail, miles vs age. Mine made it to 90K @ 17 years, mostly in the hot Florida climate.
Oh, we all carry extra DME relays.

99% of the time the file is too big. I purchased photoshop. I use the save to web feature and shrink the resolution down. Shrinking the size doesn't always work....what programs do you have? Kodak always made me nuts. You gotta be below 139 megapixels or some number like that.

Go to Google and download Picasa program, works great for resizing and editing, and it's free.
Congrats! Now for my advice, take the top off and drive it.
I hear what you're saying about clean lines on Targas. I agree when they are of later Carrera vintage. But, just to show you, a Targa can be modded and look great (not that I'd do it to your car considering the miles and price, but for a rescue car, it worked for me):

Although I really love the lines of the coupe, the Targa has always had quite a charm too. Yours looks beautiful and very clean. Congratulations on a great purchase!
