Thanks Pete. I must have missed that in your earlier post, about the black being Boges. So, what would I be looking for on my option sticker? Is it a code, or does it actually hydraulic or gas?

I think that by '83 Porsche might have been selling gas Boges as "Sport Shocks," but it might require info about part numbers from a Boge distributor...
