Post One brake lock-up

I have been having trouble with my passenger rear- brake. It seems to lock from time to time.
If the car sits (no parking brake on) for a bit then it locks by it self. I can't even roll the car. I was in it the other day, and it has been sitting for about 5 days. Yesterday when I took the wheel off I couldn't even move the thing. Locked right up..not in gear..parking brake off..

Is it possible the parking brake is stuck although the lever is down?? Or does this mean I have other problems

Any thing is possible but more than likely the piston in your caliper is sticking & needs to be rebuilt or the brake line is falty. Next time it sticks try this test. Remove the wheel & using a screwdriver or pry bar push the pad back in the caliper. Not very far just enough to ease the pressure. Now try & spin the rotor. If it moves the problem is caliper/line related. Proceed from there.
