3.2 SSI, Dansk & 911chip synergy???
Anyone know how to read a dyno chart?
Looking at the 911Chipps web site dyno section, the one that jumps out at me is the combo of the SSI, Dansk single pipe muffler, and the matched SW chip as dynod at Jerry Woods.
See: http://www.911chips.com/dyno.html
There looks to be an unusally large bump in TQ at 5000 rpms. This makes for a big fat area under the HP curve right where it should work best.
Kind of looks like a turbo comming on.
There were others with more HP but not as much power at 5k.
Could there be somthing extra special with this combonation?
I think TQ peak is where a motor is running it's most effecently.
It does look like TQ might fall off in steeper mannor than would be expected.
Is this a possable case where the effecency's of the exaust has great harmonics for power at 5k but is limiting max HP?
Thus, other systems may make more power but this brodens the usable power band?
Is there somthing special going on here???

I guess if the dyno read high, it would just have a shape like all the othere 3.2 runs.
However, there seems to be a very aparent bump or sweet spot at 5K rpm.
