Keith, I run the MX as streets on my 911, they're not a bad tire at all. I'm running normal sizes (205/225) on my 16x6 / 16x8 C2 wheels.

Yup, forgot about the Kumho MXs. I used them on the track with my 993 years ago, and that is much heavier than your Carrera and I recall it was a hot summer, too. They held up great! Great tire for dual purpose work, and ya can't beat the price.

Purchase planned.

Again, thanks for the assitance.

My plan it to go with the Hankook Tires R-S2 at the tirerack:

245/45/16's rear
225/45/16's front

Rear tires are 24.6" tall, 9.6 wide, 8.7" contact patch.
Front tires are 23.9" tall, 8.9 wide, 8" contach patch.

This compairs to a stock 25" tall tire.

The shorter rears may help gearing to a small degree.
1" shorter fronts I hope well help w clearance and I will not have to lower the front so much that I will have to much of a bump steer issue.

Will be my only tire, street, autox. track TT's.

That is the plan unless someone sees any issues here.

Thank you for the help.
