Torsion bar area rotting...Anyone have it??
Started peeling things away in the whole torsion bar mounting area of the 79 SC and found that its been rotting from the inside out. Has anyone had this and any repairs that have been successful?

Rob,
This is not unheard of nowadays as the car's original galvanic coating gets used up over time and some components can corrode if not inspected and contained/treated.
The only fix is replacement of the torsion bar tube.
