Default Think I will try rnln'e method

I am replacing leaking axle flange seals and did not realize that when I removed the CV joint to flange bolts the whole CV joint internals open up. There is no dust boot on my 84 model. It seamed like there was some crud in there, possible debris from the flange bolt threads and in the process of letting the axle hang down I managed to rotate the assembly and have one ball fall out. Now I am going to clean and repack the inner joint only so I think I will try this method. It will be ackward I suspect trying to get the whole affair nice and clean under the car but worth a shot I suppose.
