84 Carrera and PPI
I'm looking at an red on black '84 sunroof Coupe w/84K miles on it. The current owner is asking $16K. Car looks clean;does not appear to have the valve problem associated with the 3.2.
Driver's seat has some scuff marks and the hood has stone chips which will most probably have to be resprayed. A/c and cruise don't work; everything else appears to be solid.
Two questions:Is the price reasonable and can anyone recommend a mechanic for the PPI in the Scranton, PA area?

If the PPI checks out perfect, $16 sounds like a good asking price. I imagine he'd take around $15 for it without argument. As for shops - I dont know any around Scranton - sorry - not familiar enough with the area - but I can recommend a few near Philadelphia if that helps. <img src="confused.gif" border="0">
